Willie Nelson - Things to remember / Willie Nelson (1933- ), cantante country, guitarrista y compositor estadounidense. Nació en Abbott, Texas, y estudió en la universidad de Baylor. Hasta finales de la década de 1950 Nelson se limitó a vender sus canciones a otros intérpretes, pero en 1962 comenzó a interpretarlas en Nashville, Tennessee. Su álbum Shotgun Willie (1973) le proporcionó gran popularidad en Estados Unidos. Otros álbumes suyos son The Troublemaker (1976), City of New Orleans (1984) y The Promised Land (1986). Nelson ha actuado en varias películas y series televisivas; entre las primeras, El jinete eléctrico (1979, Sydney Pollack) y Ladrón (1981, Michael Mann).

A principios de la década de 1990 grabó el álbum doble Who'll Buy My Memories?: The IRS Tapes (1991) y Waylon and Willie: If I Can Find a Clean Shirt (1991), en colaboración con Waylon Jennings, con el que también ha grabado Old Friends (1991) y Outlaw Reunion (1993).
